All events are held at Ramada unless otherwise indicated.
Three main "social events types" are planned by various resident hosts.
COFFEES are usually the first Saturday of the month (October - May) at 9:30 am. Each month a different resident hosts the event with breakfast goodies and coffee. It is great place to meet the neighbors. Most people come after 9:30 am and stay an hour or so. Madi Krska is overall chairman of the event, and she supports the volunteer resident hosts.
COCKTAIL HAPPY HOURS are the third Friday of the month, October through May and are not a formal social event. The happy hour starts at 5:30-6:00 pm. These are BYOB and attendees bring "heavy" hors d'oeuvres to share". Most people enjoy the event until about 8:30 pm. There is enough food that most residents consider this their dinner that evening. The happy hour is hosted by volunteer residents. Terry Cargill oversees these events. If you wish to volunteer for one of the months, please sign up on the list located on board outside of the library.
SOCIALS are special events that occur around holiday times. A wonderful meal is hosted by the social committee. Tickets can be purchased from members of the Social Committee.
